Amanda Layman lives and works in Springfield, Missouri. Her art primarily portrays human emotion and interconnection to the environment and natural world.

As a rock climber and active person, she is inspired by athletics, dance, and theatre, and is interested in creating art that moves.

She wants her art to feel nourishing and alive – for you to wander through it along your chosen paths, finding rest and restoration, finding hope and promise in an often difficult world.
